These terms are an agreement between you and WickTape ("we", "us") about your use of wicktape.com and everything on it (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Not financial advice. The Site is an informational and educational tool. Nothing on it is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything or to place any bet. The trading bots on the Site use simulated paper money only; no real orders are placed and no real money is involved. Prediction markets and crypto are risky and you can lose everything you put in. Make your own decisions and talk to a licensed professional if you need advice.

1. Who can use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old and allowed by the laws where you live to use a site like this one. You're responsible for following the laws and rules that apply to you, including the terms of any market or exchange you use.

2. No guarantees about the information

Prices, odds, predictions, simulated results and everything else on the Site may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and can change without notice. Simulated or past performance does not predict future results. The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Site may go down, be limited or be closed at any time.

3. Not affiliated

The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Polymarket, CF Benchmarks, any exchange, or any other company whose data or names appear on it. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe where data comes from.

4. Our content and software belong to us

The Site, including its software, models, algorithms, trading logic, settings, design, text and graphics, is owned by WickTape and protected by copyright, trade secret and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable permission to view the Site in a web browser for your own non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.

5. What you may not do

copy, reproduce, republish, sell, rent or redistribute any part of the Site or its data;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract the Site's source code, models, algorithms or trading logic;
scrape, crawl or harvest the Site, or access it with bots or other automated means;
build a competing product or service using the Site or anything learned from it;
try to get into parts of the Site you aren't allowed to, test its security, overload it, or interfere with how it works;
get around any block, limit or other restriction we put on your access;
use the Site for anything unlawful.

6. Chat

The Site has a public chat. Be respectful. Don't post spam, ads, links, scams, personal information, harassment, hate, threats or anything illegal, and don't pretend to be the site owner. Don't treat anything in chat as advice. You're responsible for what you post. We may remove messages and mute or block anyone at any time, and chat messages may be kept for a while and seen by everyone on the Site.

7. We can limit or end access

We may change, limit, suspend or stop the Site, or block or limit anyone's access, at any time and for any reason, without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, WickTape and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, trading or betting losses, lost data or lost opportunities, arising from or related to the Site or these terms, even if told such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) or US $50.

9. Your responsibility

You agree to defend and hold harmless WickTape and its owner from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable lawyers' fees) arising from your use of the Site or your breaking these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Using the Site after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you agree to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
